Last weekend Jamison and his brother, Wyatt, attended a seminar in Detroit. So Kristen and I, along with little Emma, (Yes, there are 2 Kristen Worst's), decided to go along to do some shopping at IKEA and some local malls. :o) While waiting for the guys to get out one day, I took these pictures of Emma in the hotel lobby. She is so much fun and has such an adorable personality-not to mention photogenic!
Grady was so much fun to photograph the other day! He certainly favored being photographed in his diaper! :o) Grady's aunt was one of my best friends growing up, so it was really fun to be able to photograph her nephew- and, come to think of it- this was my first baby boy photo shoot! Check out his eyes, they are incredible!
I had so much fun this past Friday! I had the incredible opportunity to follow around an old family friend and his wife, Andrew and Tiffany Kraker of Marc Photography, as they shot Jenna and Justin's wedding. I have decided to add weddings to my list of available services and was thrilled that Andrew and Tiffany were willing to teach me and shoot alongside them. On another random note, I actually used to work with Jenna, the bride, so it was great to have a personal connection and see her on her big day. They are an awesome couple and I pray that they have an AMAZING marriage! Congratulations!
“Tsakani” (sock-ah-nee) is a word from a traditional African language spoken by the Shangaan people of southeastern Africa.
Translated into English, it means ‘rejoicing’ or ‘happiness.’ This is the mission of Tsakani Studios: to rejoice in the blessings of the Lord and the beauty of His creation. And through using the gifts He’s given me, I hope to portray that beauty the best I can.
Services provided are senior pictures, engagement sessions, family portraits, children, still shots, and more. I enjoy the photojournalistic style of photography, capturing the most authentic emotions in people, but also take a selection of traditionally posed photos as well.
